Adam Schwartz is a sound designer, re-recording mixer, composer, and immersive audio artist specializing in the post-production processes of film, media, and emerging formats. With over two decades of experience, his work spans commercial, broadcast, and artistic contexts, with a central focus on how sound design and mixing shape perception and emotion. As an Assistant Professor of Audio Production at Towson University, Adam teaches courses in post-production, immersive audio, and sound design, while his research explores the evolving role of spatial and cinematic sound in contemporary media.
Adam has a B.S. in Audio Technology from American University and an
M.F.A. in Art & Technology from Goucher College.
